For our customers exploring the community pre-launch in to week one:

First impressions? How’s it feel? What do you think?

 

Broken links, awkward format, organizational suggestions, web feng shui… all feedback welcome here and @Damien will be closing watching this thread to respond to your input.

So far, so good. I like it. Right now, I’d like my own dashboard with items that I’m going to frequent in an easier accessible layout with perhaps the most recent response to the thread showing under that topic/tab. It would also be good to perhaps have some sort of community monthly web chat or a chat room that’s live (might be early days though). Perhaps also some links to Legal guidence or updates that might be relevant or impact recruitment / latest technology that’s being released / relevant news (again, early days)

Will continue to post ad hoc feedback as I continue my journey ;-)

Excellent feedback @GlobalRecruiter ! We will be doing both regularly scheduled virtual socials, and HR in the Headlines will showcase developments/trends in the industry. Always open to more forum categories if it makes subscribing/following specific content easier!

Definitely need something where we can easily access recent posts and replies.  It’s currently at the profile section but going back and forth to that area to see updates/replies is time consuming ;-)

My 2 cents @Damien :

  • link in the Welcome to Community at Workable! email appears to be broken or wrong
  • at a “signup”, the “nickname” is confusing - for a community like Workable, a full name seems better option (or at least I’d love to have that option and switch to my full name instead of my “technical”, bit clumsy nickname)

Excellent feedback @matic.molicnik , and thanks for the broken link notice in the notification email – it’s been fixed.

When you say nickname, are you referring to your username you select when you create your profile? You should be able to customize – if that’s not the case for you, let me know and I’ll submit it as a bug.

@Damien thank you for the reply. Username it is 🙂 I might be looking at the wrong places, but under My profile and Settings I don’t see an option to change it. I can other info, e.g. change Company, Job title, but not the Username.
