New World of Work, two years on: Is hybrid really on the rise?
Workable just published its second edition of the New World of Work – the last one was in 2020 just as COVID hit us. We wanted to look at what’s changed, what’s stayed the same, and ultimately, what’s evolved in this new workplace. Here are a couple of awesome findings that I dug up from it:The rise of hybrid is very real. The percentage of businesses in partial remote working environments has nearly doubled since 2020 (59.2% now, 32.3% two years ago). Hiring teams are really tapped out nowadays. Reduced in-house capacity to recruit is much more of a challenge now in hiring (27.5%) than in 2020 (14.9%). What’s jumped out at you in this report? And what’s your own take on these findings? Let’s hear it!

Complete our Next World of Work survey!
Two years ago, we at Workable conducted a survey on what the “new” world of work looked like near the start of the pandemic. This was the result – a powerful report with a deep dive into the expected and actual paradigm shifts in the workplace. Now, we have a new survey – and we’re inviting you to participate. The results will give us a deep understanding of whether the workplace changes that were anticipated two years ago actually transpired. We’ll also learn what new paradigm shifts may be expected going forward now that we’ve had more than two years of experience working through a pandemic.Again, here’s the survey. It shouldn’t take more than 10-15 minutes of your time. Your contribution is valuable to us. Thanks in advance!
